Appointment Policy
To our valued Patient;
When
you
book your appointment please understand that the
time in our day is reserved exclusively for you. Since
a Therapist can only see a maximum of 5-6
patients in a day, availability is limited. Many
times, we have to turn away current and
potential patients because the slots they
request are already filled. Some
times are more requested than others. We do our
very best to provide you with the day/time you
prefer. We
highly recommend scheduling out several
appointments to reserve your specific day/time.
People
call
Stress Waived because they are in PAIN, so we
try our best to fill appointment slots
immediately as they open up. Obviously, when
somebody cancels a few hours or so before or
just plain doesn’t show up for their
appointment, it is nearly impossible to fill.
Please consider it could be you that we had to
turn away.
Please
understand
this appointment policy is a way to encourage
GOOD behavior in all our patients so that more
people can reserve the day and time that fits
their calendar.
Stress
Waived
understands that unanticipated events happen
occasionally in everyone’s life. When you book
an appointment that time is truly reserved for
you and you alone.
We
ask
that you respectfully give a 24 hour notice if
you are unable to keep your reserved appointment
slot, if done so no charge will occur.
Cancellation:
Any patient that does not
provide at least 24hr notice will be charged for
the appointment time they committed too. First
time offenders will be charged ½ price, subsequent
times will be charged the FULL fee (regardless of
package/membership, etc.) and future appointments
will be denied until payment is received or other
arrangements have been made with Stress Waived. We will
send a bill either email or postal for any
fees/balances unpaid. We will allow 2 missed
(Canceled/No show), appointments before we will
require guarantee of payment via Credit Card.
Refusal to provide us with credit card information
will sadly and unfortunately result in termination
of our relationship and you will not be allowed to
schedule more appointments with us. We truly hope
it never comes to this, as we dislike charging
people for work not performed.
Our scheduling software sends
out reminders via, email, text and/or phone calls
48 hours prior to your appointment. We provide
this service as a courtesy to help avoid last
minute cancellations, so please check your
calendars as soon as you receive your reminders
and plan accordingly.
No Show/Missed
Appointment:
Anyone who misses or plain
doesn’t show up for your reserved appointment time
for what ever reason will be considered a No Show
and will be charged the FULL fee for the no showed
appointment and future appointments will be denied
until payment is received or other arrangements
have been made with Stress Waived. We will
send a bill either email or postal for any
fees/balances unpaid. We will allow 2 missed

Late Arrivals:
Remember, appointment times are
arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late
your session time will not change, so the hands on
may be shortened in order to accommodate your
reserved appointment time. Depending
upon how late you arrive into your appointment,
your therapist will determine if there is enough
time remaining to start and provide you with the
best treatment possible. Regardless of the length of
treatment actually given, you will be responsible
for the “full” session, even if time does not
allow for treatment, however we will do our very
best to satisfy the scheduled time. IF there is
nobody scheduled immediately after, we will make
every effort to extend the session to your full
time.
Out of respect and
consideration to your therapist and other
patients, please plan in appropriately and be on
time. If
you are running late, a courtesy call informing us
would be wonderful. This way we do not have to
worry about you either.
Gift Voucher:
Gift Vouchers (GV) are
non-refundable and may only be used for the
specific named service/session length (no
changes/division of time/etc.). GV may
not split between individuals for services/session
length, time or cost and are non-transferable.
They expire in 90 days from purchase date unless
Stress Waived has extended the expiration. GV must
be presented in order to be honored. Lost of
stolen GV will not be replaced. Photo copies of GV
will not be accepted. When paying with a GV, if
you cancel/No show the GV will be considered
“used” and then null-n-void.
Payment:
Payment may be made by Credit
Card (HAS/Benny card), Check, Cash, Gift
Certificate. You may prepay for as many sessions
as you like. We have a membership designed to keep
you on a monthly maintenance program (at a
minimum), and treatment packages to help easy
payment. If
a payment made with check does not process
properly (IE: bounces/returned/etc), we charge
$25.00 for each incident, on top of still
collecting the session fee. We reserve the right
to refuse payment by check if this becomes an
issue/recurs.
Full payment is expected before
you leave the office (before or after treatment).
All patients, whether they have received treatment
or booked an appointment are bound by this policy
without any prejudice or exemption. If
unable to pay, your session may be immediately
cancelled/not performed and future appointments
will be denied until payment is received or other
arrangements have been made with Stress Waived.
We understand people sometimes
wake up sick, and real emergencies come up. Depending
on the situation, we may reduce or waive the fee
altogether. We would like to add that we don’t get
angry at or personally upset with any patient that
fails to give notice or just doesn’t show up: it
just isn’t fair to other patients that need the
massage work.
Stress Waived, it’s owner, a
third party collection, or legal counsel on behalf
of Stress Waived shall have full legal right to
collect any unpaid balance for services rendered
and any associated fees incurred due to
non-payment, cancellations, no shows.

online 24hrs prior to your session.
