What to expect in Classes?
Improves health and wellness, make it part
of your routine. Working in pairs provides a more
complete, fully unencumbered stretch as the receiving
persons muscles do not push back/resist giving each
muscle group increased flexibility, longer lasting
results enhancing massage, physical therapy,
chiropractic adjustments, sport activities and so much
more. A great way to meet new people, make
friends, have fun. Come check out a class for yourself
and see what all the hype is about.

During Class Session:
Individuals will be
paired. Each person has 30min as both
receiver and giver. Both the receiver and
giver gain numerous benefits from their
perspective roles. Decreases stiffness,
aches and pains, lowers risk of injury and
so much more. Pain is not normal so do
something to fix it!
-->Receiver is the
person who is being stretched. You will work at
being as relaxed as possible, staying in tune
with your body to inform the giver of what you
are feeling: if the stretch is to far, to much,
needs to be backed off. You will be feeling your
own muscles, fascia, ligaments soft tissue
slowly let go and give in to the stretch. You
will learn how to listen to your body-when a
stretch feels good and when to stop.It is your
job to COMMUNICATE honestly so you get the most
out of the class. You, the receiver is the one
in CONTROL. This learning will make you a better
giver.
--> Giver is the person performing
the stretch. You need to listen to your pair
(receiver). you will feel the resistance of your
pairs soft tissues, which might fight against
you at first, and once the receiver relaxes more
you typically feel that you can push slowly
further into the stretch-this is where results
happen best.
Guide:
Each assisted stretch will be demonstrated on an
attendee (I will choose a different person for
each stretch). This way each attendee will
experience from the professional.
I will walk around the room and guide each pair
as needed during the stretches. This will help
prevent soreness/over-stretchedness. The guide
will share which muscle(s) you should be feeling
being stretched. Reminding you to listen and pay
attention to the body (both receiver and giver).
Each stretch will be held for a minimum of
30sec. (this is enough time for the soft tissue
to learn but not be overwhelmed)-the guide will
tell you when you start and when to finish each
stretch.
Go slow, this is not a race, allow
your muscles to adjust to the stretch.
Classes
currently are in the evening. Mostly
Tuesdays, some Thursdays, and occasional
Saturday.
Upper
and Lower body classes will be 1 hour.
Whole body classes are 2 hrs.
